About me:

Dr Phil Ridsdill Smith is the Senior GP Partner at Haslemere Health Centre and has been caring for patients at the practice since 1998.  Over nearly three decades, he has developed a strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and helping to shape the ongoing development of services within the practice.

As part of his leadership role, he leads the practice's work with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and meets regularly with the Patient Participation Group to ensure patients' views continue to inform and improve the services provided by the Health Centre.

Clinically, he has a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine and performs joint injections within the practice.  He also enjoys working with patients who live with chronic pain, helping them to develop effective long-term management strategies that support their quality of life and well being.

Outside work, he regularly takes part in parkrun events and enjoys sailing racing dinghies.
